Islam Has Been Perfect
Imam Malik ibn Anas (93-199 AH) رحمه الله تعالى said, "Whoever holds an innovation in Islam which he considers it good (bid'ah hasanah), then indeed he has accused Prophet Muhammad 'alaihi wa sallam betrayed this religious treatise. For verily Allah Almighty has said: "Today I have perfected your religion for you ..." [Al-Maa-idah: [3]. (Imam Malik rahimahullah goes on to say), "Then something that day is not a religious teaching, so today it is not a religion" [al-I'tisham (I / 64-65) tahqiq: Shaykh Salim bin 'Ied al -Hilaly cet. I, th. 1412 H, Daar Ibni Affan]
Said Alloh ta'ala:
"Today I have perfected your religion for you, and I have made you My favor, and I have accepted Islam to be a religion to you." (Al-Maaidah: 3)
(With sanadnya) from Umar ibnul-Khaththab rodhiallohu 'anhu said that a Jew said to him, "O Amirul Mu'minin a verse in your book that you read if it goes down on our side of the Jewish faction, we shall make it a feast." Umar asked, "Which verse is that?" He replied, "Al-yauma akmaltu lakum dikakum wa atmamtu 'alaikum ni'matii waradhiitu lakumul islaamadiinan" (Today I perfected for you your religion and I perfected you my favor and I willing Islam your religion). "Umar said," We have known that day and the place of descent upon the Prophet shollallohu 'alaihi wa sallam, that he was standing at Arafat on Friday. "(Shohih Al-Bukhory no. 45, 4145, 4330, 6840)
