the easy religion of Islam, beautiful embracing him
This essay is already commonly discussed in every study of Islam, but it would not hurt me to try to write back with a personal purpose if I meant to read back quickly and remember his messages and may Allah strengthen my faith.
This time I summarize the Islamic study delivered by Ust. Abd. Rahman Dahlan also delivered in the study of Ahmad Al-Azhar and Friday sermons at Masjid Al-Musyawarah Kelapa Gading. From Abu Hurairah ra, that the Prophet said that means:
"Indeed, Islam is easy, No one wants to excessively practice this religion unless it will be overwhelmed (self-defeated), so try to practice religion appropriately, at least approaching accuracy, and cheer up (with God's promised reward), and ask for help God, both morning, evening and evening "(Bukhari).
The above hadith is a description of one of the core principles of Islamic teachings. The first part of the word of the Holy Prophet confirms that Islam is an easy religion. The explanation of this hadith is very much aligned with some verses of the Qur'an, among others the word of Allah swt in the letter of Al-Baqarah verse 185, when Allah explains the command to perform the fast of Ramadan.
As it is known that the religion of Islam comes from the revelation of Al-Qur'an and Al-Hadith. The doctrine contained in da
lam both are simple, in the sense, to understand their teachings do not require a high and complex knowledge. Therefore, the Arab community who became the object of propagation of the Prophet when the descent of the Qur'an can understand it, even though they are ummi society (not having a literacy tradition). The ease of Islam is not only in certain parts of it, but in all its parts, both in the field of aqidah (belief and belief), in the field of worship, sharia, muamalah and in the field of morals. Let's discuss them one by one :
1. Convenience in aqidah
The ease in the field of aqidah is reflected in the doctrine of his doctrine that is logical, easy to accept common sense, not strange and not make people confused. In it there is no unreasonable and impossible teaching. Because the teachings of Islamic aqeedah is called the teaching of fitrah (a doctrine that is in line with the original human inclination). For example the doctrine of God is one, about the hereafter, heaven, hell and others. On the unity of God, it is called logical because if God is more than one, for example there are good gods and evil gods, then the gods will show their respective power, so that this highly ordered universe will be destroyed by the power struggle between them. If they are at peace, then of course they are no longer almighty, while such things are not worth mentioning as gods.
Likewise, belief in the hereafter will surely come. If the hereafter which is the place of justice and the real judgment for the vengeance of the good and evil does not exist, then man will never get justice, whereas our logic says that real justice must be realized, while justice in this perishable world is purely fictitious because it was the end of the day. So it goes with other Islamic doctrines, all of which are logical and readily accepted by common sense.
2. Ease in Worship
The ease of Islamic teachings is also present in all areas of worship. The duty of ablution to perform the prayer, for example, if in the case of a traveler or in the absence of water, or being sick, or water is required to drink, the obligation of wudu may be replaced by tayammum. Similarly, when people are traveling, the four-raked prayer is reduced to two rak'ahs, and the time of shuh zuhur and ashar, or maghrib and isya can also be combined (dijamak). Implementation of the prayer itself is also easy. A healthy person performs the prayer in a standing state. But if not able to stand, may sit, unable to sit can lie down.
So is the obligation of Ramadan fasting is easy. Fasting is recommended only during the day, should not be carried out continuously every day of the year. When a person is sick or a traveler in the month of Ramadan, the obligation of fasting can be changed on another day and month. While fasting itself gives birth to enormous benefits for the physical and mental health of those who carry it out.
Meanwhile, performing the pilgrimage and paying zakat is only required to those who have the ability to do so, in accordance with predetermined size and conditions. The obligation of zakat itself is for the benefit of our fellow human beings, where the charity issued is to help those who desperately need help between the rich and the poor. The person who tithe will gain blessings in life and his property. The facts show people who are be
